What is JOGA Select
A football tour that starts with a player, not a team.
Most youth football tours are built for existing teams travelling together. JOGA Select is different.
Players apply individually by age group and destination. Sports Ventures then selects players to form boys’ and girls’ JOGA Select Teams. No existing team is required.
Players train, compete in friendly matches and travel together as a team — making it ideal for players whose club isn’t travelling or who want their own international football experience.

Why an existing team isn't required
Arrive as individuals. Compete as a team.
A player doesn't need a club roster behind them to take part in a Select Tour. Applications are submitted individually through the Sports Ventures application form, one player at a time. There are no trials or tryouts — Sports Ventures reviews each application against the age group and destination applied for, and accepted players are placed into the Select Team for that tour.
Boys and girls always train and compete on separate JOGA Select Teams within the appropriate age group for their destination, so no team is ever mixed-gender. Because the team itself is formed after applications close, every player arrives having done the hardest part already — deciding to go — without needing to convince a whole squad of teammates, organize logistics themselves, or wait for their club to schedule an overseas trip.

Portugal — Lisbon & Costa da Caparica
The U13 (2014/15) Boys & Girls Select Team trains and stays in Lisbon and Costa da Caparica, with a planned professional coaching experience with SL Benfica or Sporting CP (subject to final confirmation), a panoramic Lisbon tour, a Footlab visit and a surf lesson alongside three friendly matches.
Spain — Barcelona & Sitges
The U15 (2012/13) Boys & Girls Select Team is based between Barcelona and Sitges, with a planned professional coaching experience with RCD Espanyol Academy (subject to final confirmation), a Camp Nou stadium tour and a kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding activity alongside three friendly matches.
Italy — Rome
The U17 (2010/11) Boys & Girls Select Team trains and stays in Rome, with a planned professional coaching experience with SS Lazio or AS Roma (subject to final confirmation), a Stadio Olimpico tour and an Italian cooking experience alongside three friendly matches.

How families participate
Parents, guardians and family can travel too.
A Select Tour isn't only for the player. Parents, guardians and other family members can travel on the same dates using the accompanying family rates published on each destination page, staying at the same four-star hotel and taking part in the destination activities alongside the team. Families choose from triple, twin/double or single room occupancy when they apply, and the same seven-night structure applies to both players and accompanying family.

Applying
How the application process works.
JOGA Select follows a simple, five-step journey from application to travel.
Applying is free and takes a few minutes. A player (or their parent or guardian) submits an application for the destination and age group they want to join. Sports Ventures reviews the application against roster availability for that Select Team, and accepted players receive the next steps for securing their place. From there, players are introduced to their teammates ahead of departure before the whole Select Team travels together to train, compete and explore.
Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee a place. Once a place is offered, the full schedule of training, fixtures, the professional club session and destination activities is issued to the family before departure.
