Why Italy

Rome's football history, up close.

Two of Italy's biggest clubs share a stadium in a city built on centuries of history. A Select Team week here puts the football programme alongside Rome itself, from the Stadio Olimpico to the kitchen.

A single player doesn't need a club roster behind them to make this trip happen. Sports Ventures brings individually applied U17 players together into boys' and girls' Select Teams for the May 2027 tour, so players arrive as individuals and train, eat and travel as a team from day one.

Beyond the pitch, the week includes a panoramic Rome tour, a Stadio Olimpico visit and a pizza and pasta cooking class, giving players a genuine taste of Roman life alongside the football programme.
